GETTING PLANNING CONSENT
Took two years to secure planning permission. Scheme was initially refused by Lambeth, after members overturned officers recommendation for approval. Committee insisted that the scheme should be marketed for 12 months to prove there was no continuing demand for it as an employment site. Client appealed against the scheme and lost as a result of concerns about overlooking onto neighbouring properties. But permission was granted by the local authority following changes to design to resolve these concerns.
